Trinity has gotten better making some changes as the year has gone on. The style of play that X has is just too much for this group of Rocks. They have gotten better alos. I know Trinity has improved but you do not get bigger and stringer during the season and that is why X whipped them the first time and last year for that matter. This is not the Trinity team you guys played for and they play with much more finess now. Shall I say somewhat Mumme. X will punch them in the mouth again. X 28-14

For most of the time that Beatty has been at Trinity, the style of play at Trinity has been too much for the ex-men. It is a very tall order for Trinity. I expect Trinity to be able to move the ball much better than they did in September. The team runs the ball much better now and the offense has gotten much better at finding open receivers quickly. For me, the big question is whether the Trinity defense can do a better job of stopping the ex-man offense. I expect x to gain a lot of yards. The key will be to keep them from putting together a string of five or six first downs. It will also be important to not give the ex-men any short drives. In September Trinity had too many three and out drives that gave the ex-men a short field.

The cheap shot about Mumme is way off base. Mumme played a very wide open, but also very simple offense. Trinity plays the most complicated offense in town. It relies on a great number of reads by everyone on the field. That is the main reason that it gets better as the season progresses. I will point out that the ex-men were capable of shutting down Brian Brohm in his fifth game as a starter. It was the last time they were able to beat him. From listening to Coach Glaser in interviews this year it seems that this idea of punching people in the mouth is a theme this year. Not that he has used the term "punch in the mouth". Rather he seems to have emphasised physical domination. It worked in September. You may find things a little harder this time. I kind of like the Rocky and Clubber Lang analogy someone used earlier. The boxers versus the brawlers.

Don't really care. Would rather watch a good college game.

As for c walsh not hurting my feelings , I don,t think so I've known him quite a while myself we graduated the same year from our respective schools and his name is not c its Todd so maybe I've known him a little longer thank you for your thoughts though

C. is for "Coach", I use Coach out of respect, some people might not know his first name. In terms of knowning longer, that's a little petty, but for your information I coached at X when he was playing and also when he started his career at X.

Ain't this just great...... Tigers - Rocks...... Rocks - Tigers!!!!!!

Don't really care. Would rather watch a good college game. However the X-men will walk in this one. Will be there earlier though to watch a good high scholl game in the 3A.

Show up before the 4A game & you will definitely have your seat of choice when the 3A game starts. You'll have to sleep in it, though

Nothing like a second T/x game in a season!

Brohm Owned X not Beatty as you can see now. Yes Beatty won the first game with Riddle I believe, but now that X has adapted to the oh so very complicated system Brohm was the other story. The QB calls the play once the defense is set and he looks at Beatty. The most effective way to defend that is move players after the Beatty call. The Mumme pun was talking about their less than usual physical play.

That is a GREAT locker room post. And with that ex-man education you should know that it wasn't a pun.

If memory serves me correct...the original mastermind behind T's offense was/is Coverdale.

Ain't this just great...... Tigers - Rocks...... Rocks - Tigers!!!!!!

And it's only Wednesday. The heat will be turned up the next 2 days! Pride & Honor- Go Tigers Take State!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Thanks....from all the OTHER players who were on the field during the Brohm era.

They were good also I know but Brohm could throw passes that 95% of the HS QB's cannot make and made him almost undefendable for HS athletes.
