Trinity's defensive line suprised me against Henry Clay in not being as physical as they have had in years past. Henry Clay could run the ball but chose not to with bad play calling like the fade thrown in the end zone to Jeter that got picked off who might have been the shortest kid on the field. St. X's offensive line will give Trinity a lot of problems.

I do not agree on several points, 1 I seem to recall couple of 3rd and short and a huge forth and 1 at the HC 48 that they could for some reason not get , and as for the cb. being one of the shortest on the field that was Senn he's every bit of 6'0 tall (and soon to be an Ivy league man).

Will this game, and the other games, be televised on ICN-8 in Louisville like previous years?

I didn't mean Trinity's DB was short I was talking about #26 Jeter for Henry Clay was short. Clearly Trinity's DB wasn't it looked like Simpson throgh it right to him. Henry Clay ran up and down the field on that drive and Sam Simpson through a fade to the shortest player on the field and it was picked off from about Trinity's 25 yard line. Bad Call. No knock on Trinity, the DB made the play but a horribe play call handed them that turnover.

Trinity did stop Rod Johnson on 4th and short but lets not be crazy here Sam Simpson's play calls strike again. They ran a slow developing run to Johnson with no lead blocker out of shotgun. Someone tell me if you only need one yard why do hand your best runningback the ball 5 yards in the backfield on 4th down. I think that is pretty stupid to say the least. I have a feeling St. X would not be in Shotgun on 4th and short.

from the looks of the pole maybe we should just not show up , stay home in the warm house.NAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA not a chance GO ROCKS bring home that 16th title.

22 hours to kickoff!

:dancingpa :ylsuper: 14.5 hrs.!!!!! :ylsuper: :dancingpa

I wonder how many players are sleeping "soundly" tonight? Tomorrow is going to be the longest day of school EVER!

Heck, I couldn't sleep last night. X gets out of school at noon to observe the Feast of St. Xavier. Hopefully the football tigers feast tonight on some clover.

Even with Brohm t only scored 17 his senior year

I like Tigers by 9 tonight unless t stops the run then it could be a war

Go Tigers, repeat

Something that is still fresh in my mind from early last year is the Thread posted by a t supporter " Will X look to get rid of Glaser if they cannot beat Beatty...or something like that.....

Win or lose tonight long live Glaser!!!

Not to worry, the BGP poll had the Rocks losing to Henry Clay last week. Who knows, this may be the last time either of these schools in allowed to play for a combined state title.

This game will be a classic like all the others in playoff history. The rocks will make noise early but the Tigers take over in the second half. St.X -28 rocks- 21

X-is the roman numeral for ten

X-is the mark of intelligent men

X-crosses sweaters outside hearts of gold

X-is for Xavier whose Tigers are bold

Strength & Honor- Take State 2005- Goooooooo Tigers!!!!!!!! Beat the weeds!

Bring home #12 (or #14 depending on how you look at it)

One of my favorite parts of the rivalry is how fast the tides turn...It doesn't get any better than this :dancingpa

Did you guys swipe that from Russell Crowe in Gladiator?

I think the Tigers take this one in style. Our lines remain the same. Kramer will play tonight, and Jeffries is at full speed, not hamperred by the hamstring earlier, and Vic missed half the first game.

If we had left our first group in, as T did, the score would have been worse. Just too much ground for T to make up, no matter what changes are made.

If the X OL establishes itself early, then T DL has to be thinking "Here we go again."

No. we got it from a real hero. Although he won't be attending this one in person, I promise he will be listing on the internet. Thanks Mr. Meredith for all that you do & Go Tigers!
