Clyde
Probably not. However, Pujols is a talent that you keep and build around. Obviously Dunn isn't. Probably not? Probably not? That's as far as you'll go on what is 100% obvious to everyone else? So Pujols would be a loser as well since he would have been on really bad teams despite his strong offensive performance? History
Pujols has played 3B, OF and 1B in his career, and is arguably the best player of his generation. Dunn isn't the best position player on his current crummy team. That would be Ryan Zimmerman.
Clyde
Well he has proven to not be part of a winner. That is a fact. You are correct. He was never on a winner. What does that prove when we're talking about a 53-man roster in regards to how good one player was?
Clyde
Clyde the Reds are winning and Dunn is on the Nationals-they stink! Those are facts. JP will be back jsut like everyone else form ESPN. He will be in the majors much longer thasn the Dunner. Thank you. Your avoidance of the obvious tells me that I'm correct. Your argument has no substance. Pujols is a winner and the LEADER of the Cardinals, a playoff contender every year. Dunn is a left handed Dave Kingman and hasn't made a playoff appearance yet. History
The thread started by Clyde was Adam Dunn-Team Leader, and the answer to that is no. Teams don't deal their team leader. Dunn has already been on three different clubs-soon to be a fourth. Pujols hasn't been traded and won't be traded by the Cardinals. To compare Dunn to Pujols in any way is an afront to the Cardinals first baseman.
malachicrunch
I really thought we were over the Adam Dunn saga. Guess not. Let's see how well he leads the Dodgers toward the pennant. Didn't work out for AZ. Should be a hoot.
Clyde
To compare Dunn to Pujols in any way is an afront to the Cardinals first baseman. Especially when its used to accurately show the "loser" claim as false. Pujuls is not a loser. He would not be a loser had he been stuck on the bad Reds teams despite that being your measuring stick. You can debate the leader issue but the "loser" issue has been 100% proven false by the Pujols comparison. Ask Malachi. He agrees.

Adam Dunn is not a leader. 3 MLB teams have already seen it. Sorry you don't like the answer.

He didn't post difference meaning numbers in AZ. So if he is in LA. Let's see if they improve, or wane even further. From what you are saying, you know, great leader, awesome run producer, then they should instantly be better the day he strolls into Chevas Ravine. Correct?
