Cornell lead the series 1-0,back in 1967 Cornell beat up on the Cats 92-77 in Lexington,its time to even the score,Cats 92 Cornell 77.

I remember listening to that game on the radio. It was a big shock to everyone. The big question was, "Who in the heck is Cornell?"

 

The game was early in the season and UK went on to lose 12 more games that year. It was the year after UK was runner-up in the NCAA tournament to Texas Western. They had lost two starters, Larry Conley and Tommy Kron, while returning All-Americans Louie Dampier and Pat Riley, along with Thad Jaracz. But the two that graduated turned out to be hard to replace.

If I was a gambler, I'd bet a ton on UK...and I'd be a nervous wreck all night. :lol:

 

And, I'd be the unhappiest UK fan in the world if they won by 8 or less.
