Cats will overlook Cornell a bit, have a few early struggles, and come out strong in the 2nd half. I'll take Kentucky by 12.

Cornell is an excellent basketball team. The Cats would be foolish to underestimate them. The Big Red is Final Four capable.

At this stage, no team can afford to overlook anyone. UK did not overlook ETSU or Wake Forest. I don't think they overlook this team either. There has been a lot of talk that Cornell was a dark horse capable of upsetting anyone in the tourney, and you can bet that Calipari will make sure the Cats realize this. I think UK comes out firing on all cylinders, but Cornell will make this a much more competitive game than the past 2 opponents as I don't think that this team will fold when UK makes runs on them.

UK 79 Cornell 70

Cornell is 29-4

UK is 34-2

They have 1 common opponent, Alabama

The Big Red beat Bama 71-67 in Tuscaloosa.

UK beat Bama 66-55 in Lexington and 73-67 in Nashville.

Jay Bilas shows all of Kentucky just how smart he is. Cornell has lost only 4 games all year, and 3 of the loses were against Seton Hall, Syracuse, and Kansas. This team can flat out play. The Big Red will put on a shooting exhibition as they continue their Cinderella story.

Cornell 83

Kentucky 76

The athleticism of UK, star power and big stage will be too much for Cornell.

UK 85

Cornell 63

Cats by 12

This is an athletic mismatch UK rolls 82- 60

You figure there is no way Kentucky beats this team as badly as they beat Wake.

This is one of the few Sweet Sixteen matchups I got right, Cats just have way too many weapons. Would love to see West Virginia/Kentucky for a trip to Indy.

The return of Mark Coury! Shows why Tubby was ran out of town!

I would be very surprised if this is a double-digit win. Cornell deserves a lot of credit. I'd say Cats by 6.

UK by 20+
