I say grant every student one transfer after entering the 9th grade. This transfer would have no consequences for the student. However if they chose to transfer agian (to follow a coach, etc) then the student would have to sit one year, no execeptions.

If you ever watched a game that Al Hatcher coached in, you would have wanted a shot clock long before now.

Every other team in the 14th will be praying that they draw each other in the first round of the district. Maybe it will open up a game in the semi finals for a team that isnt PCC, Hazard, KCC, or Cordia.

Another good win for Estill County. As always Coach McKinley has his teams peaking at the right time.

Hazard is very likely to win the 14th this year. With Hollan and Hudson to go with a very expeirenced team they will be a hard out. They have split with PCC and have defeated Knott. Al Holland will have this team ready to go.

If you took away all the transfers from the 14th region, Breathitt County could be the best team in the region. They have enough talent to shake up the 14th.

Estill may have had some jet lag, from last nights game agianst Owsley. But Wolfe County has had a good season also.

Always hard to win in Campton. But I figured this would have been closer.

Two contrasting styles in this game. Estill plays very controlled and a slower half court game. Wolfe County plays up and down the floor. If Estill can slow Wolfe down they can win this game. But I agree that it is hard to go to Campton and win. Wolfe by 8. Side note: Just imagine how good Wolfe would be if they still had the Gilbert kid that is at Scott County.

Julian is having a bad year. Handshake ruling makes national headlines, cross country runner refusing to wear number for religous purpose makes national headlines, and now all that has occured today.:ohbrother:

Looks like Estill County was able to put this game away in the 4th quarter. Not like the barn burner earlier in the season at Owsley.

I have seen Johnson play several times. This kid is legit. He is truly one of the most athletic big guys ive seen play.

If nothing else this brings attention to the KHSAA regarding recruiting. I have long said that either all transfers should have to sit one year or give every athlete one transfer with no consequences, then make them sit.
