Cordia controlled the game pretty much the whole game. They had a 14 point lead late in the fourth and hazard started fouling and cordia missed a bunch of free throws hazard cuts it to 1 with about 3 seconds left.hazard's hunter hardy missed a 30 footer at the buzzer for the win.

Could be a early look at the 14th region All A Classic.

They have it on their schedule to play Jackson City in the 1st Round, so I take it they can. KHSAA schedule only shows 4 games.

My understanding is that Cordia is allowed to play in the all A. I am hearing that the All A Classic will not allow them to play. Its not up to the KHSAA to allow them to play in it or not.

So the KHSAA says they can play in the All A but the All A folks say no? That's interesting. Is this because they won their region last year with a roster full of transfers?

I was talking to another regular board member about this very thing a few weeks ago. We came to the conclusion that they could play in it, as meaning the KHSAA didn't/couldn't control that outcome since it isn't a KHSAA event and it would just count toward their 15 game total they were being allowed to play. But, there could be a very good chance that the All "A" tournament board might not let them play since it is their tournament and they have final say so. Looks like this just might turn out to be the case.

I would hope that the All A committee would honor the KHSAA sanctions....if not, it speaks to a potentially bigger issue. I'm hoping RCC9 weighs in on this one ! :banana:
