Final from Georgetown

Gilbert had 33 for SC......Johnson had 36 for PCC

36 for Johnson against Long is big time.

Still no Beverly for PCC?

Also had 18 rebounds.

He had 23 according to the Scott Co stats.

I thought Jackson Davis was the best big man in the state, until I watched Johnson play tonight. He made a real argument in my eyes. WKU got a steal if I ever saw one. If he adds 10 pounds of lean muscle he'll be unstoppable.

Billy Hicks after the game - "We've played against Julius Randle and Jahlil Okafor and aint none of them dunked on us like Johnson did tonight."

Beverly was great too, but that's it for PCCHS. He made so many great passes but no one could knock down an open shot. Only two threes on the night.

Meanwhile SC had four in double figures and hit 9 threes - big difference.

Great game though!

I have seen Johnson play several times. This kid is legit. He is truly one of the most athletic big guys ive seen play.
