scooterbob
I offer my sincere thanks to those Obama supporters who so abily proved the point that their candidate has accomplished nothing that would qualify him for any position of major inportance let alone the highest office in the land. I guess I should apologize for asking a question that has such an obvious answer. And that answer is that Obama is all form and no substance. But that should surprise no one. However, I must give a measure of credit to hoopboy who observed that "he isn't a republican". Indeed he is not. From what we know of his history (which is sketchy at best because of the veil of secrecy around him), we can conclude that he has always sought out and associated with radicals, socialists, and Marxists (that is well documented even, in so many words, by him) it is reasonable for us to conclude, from the evidence, that he is (I'll be nice) a person with strong socialist/Marxist beliefs (surely, none of you can deny this). I must conclude that he is quite dangerous. Edited October 31, 2008 by scooterbob

You go onto a site in a State where 55-60% of the people would vote Republican if the candidate was a tree and ask, then bash a Democrat. It's no secret that there's only like six Obama supporters on here, but your doing a find job of nothing really. Let's ask this question again in 2016, once Obama has completed his second term.:thumb:

When he puts his Communist ideas in place, you don't want to start off on the wrong foot.

Ask rockmom, she and I have broken this site down to its membership allegiences and it is right at about 50-50. anyone who drinks the "BGP is a conservative site" mantra is fooling themselves. rockmom
How did you do it, out of curiosity? Well, first, it was a project was born of my whining about conservative bias. I must make that statement in the interest of full disclosure. Obviously, it's not 100% conclusive, but we are able to go back through this forum and find most participant's leanings by what they've posted. And obviously, neither of us had time to comb through and tick each poster who's posted over the years in a column. The perception that there is a conservative slant is actually derived by the sheer number of threads/posts by conservative members, and the usual loquacios nature of those posts. Unfortunately, many of us who are branded "liberal" are not as verbose as those who are on the other side of the fence. But, if you go back and look at responses, and the nature of those responses, you can get a fair representative sample and make a deduction from there.
