7 on 7 Season

7 on 7 is going on. I know Dixie played Loveland yesterday. Any games or tournaments coming up?

I heard Boyle County had some 7 on 7 yesterday? Anyone know how that went? I heard Raceland was there and Southwestern. Details would be great.

Boyle, Southwestern, Raceland and GRC. Thought Boyle looked good.  Both new QB’s threw nice balls, albeit under no pressure.  Rebel receivers looked good and made nice catches.  Defense is quick, quick, quick, and has speed to burn.  Thought they were very good in coverage and had several interceptions.  Long way to go but a good first showing.

Male came to BG yesterday for some 7v7.

Heard BG looked pretty good and Male was breaking in a few brand new QBs.

Highlands hosted Anderson (OH) on Wednesday. Looked to be a good matchup. HHS was a bit rusty coming straight out of the dead period but overall all 3 QBs looked good.

They are in Hoover Alabama the rest of the week. The JV went 3-2-1 yesterday vs. mostly Varsity competition and the Varsity plays in the National level tourney today and tomorrow. Male and CAL are also in Hoover.

No. I saw on listserv they’re looking for more teams on Tuesday.

They are playing in tournament at EKU on Saturday.  Supposed to hav teams for Tuesday and Thursday.  Only team I know of that is supposed to come is Somerset.

Highlands Varsity goes 4-1 on Friday

CAL - 2-3 

Highlands scores highest point total of the tournament on Friday and gives up the 2nd least points while pitching two shutouts. Pool play continues today, hopefully KY represents well.
