Interesting I guess it could be worse than being a Kentucky football fan. I think they lost a game like that a few years ago at home vs. Marshall if memory serves me right.

You and me both. I had Notre Dame not making the playoff before the season began but I would have never expected this one to go down in the loss column.

After their big season opening win a lot of people were on the Irish Train.  They can back that thing right back up into the station. 

And the coaching carousel begins on Sunday?

Marcus Freeman is on the hot seat.  He has notched a few decent wins but the follow up has been terrible.  Loss at home to Marshall two years ago and then had a terrible loss to a really bad Stanford team that year.  Today's loss was unacceptable.  Leonard is not working as QB.  Part of that might be due to the Irish's o-line issues but he can't throw a decent ball downfield.  And that last INT was unacceptable.  The Irish just needed to play ground and pound with their solid running back tandem and they probably would've won the game by 8 points.

As an Irish fan this is a frustrating loss.
