Clyde
Sounds like PC made it easy for Ryle to take D Allen out of the game.

BCHS-BLUEBIRD
How many did he end up with? 14-15? You can tell he's a solid player and probably really shines in the AAU world. He was face guarded most of the game and passed the ball around well but honestly doesn't have a ton of a supporting cast. They had a few much smaller kids(frosh or soph maybe) shooting it well from 3. It's just hard to hang 4 qtrs with a 6A school from a depth standpoint. I thought Pendleton played well and punched Ryle in the mouth early on but Ryle made the adjustments and responded. Difference in the game IMO was #20(not sure of his name) off the bench for Ryle. Don't_Hate_the_Playa
Face guarding and 6A competition aside, Allen should be able to go for more than 14-15 against Ryle. I'm curious to hear more about PC's approach to this game. Allen is a GREAT player.
TRUTH22
PC came in with a game plan and never made adjustments when it wasn't working. Allen goes for 35-40 if he works the post in THIS game. First look at Ryle and its program and I was impressed. Good luck to both teams moving forward!
All Blue
The two things that stand out to me if accurate is Allen with only 10 shot attempts an PC with only 11 rebounds.
Can'tcoach
PC had a two point lead at the half after a grind it out kind of game for both teams. The first four minutes of the third quarter set the tone for the second half and Pc found itself down by as many as fifteen. To their credit they fought in the last quarter to reduce the margin to five at one point, but with Ryle in the double bonus and hitting a high percentage PC could not dig out of the hole they made for themselves with costly turnovers and poor shooting. Give Ryle credit as well for their box and one defense which was effective the entire game. PC will definitely need to make some adjustments as they are likely to see this defense much more in the future.
dognation
Ryle has physical defenders in the post especially from what I saw earlier this year; so D.A. posting them up I don't think would have worked well for them. Kid will be ok, one bad scoring game, I'm sure he'll bounce back.
Clyde
You can't let a team take your best player out of the game without being ready for it and running plays to make them pay. It would seem to be a strategy Dontae Allen sees a lot this year and next two. If the others can't pick up the slack then you'd better ge DA shots. TRUTH22
Well only one way to find out . Allen is long and stonger then he looks. The one time he got the ball on the post he scored.

Oh my! eleven rebounds is correct . Another big factor is Ryle hit 22 of 28 from the free throw line while PC only had 10 attempts.
