Cruised to victory. What a pleasure to watch.

Could have set a race record, but he basically cruised in the last 16th. IMO, you don't use the whip, but you ride the horse through the finish line regardless of the lead. Local (Midway-Donegal Farm) horse Keen Ice, didn't cruise in, and he garnered a very good second-place finish.

I am trying to find an update on Mr. Jordan who appeared to be eased mid-way through the race.

Gotta give props to the handlers for racing him. Could just rest on his laurels and rack up the stud fees; any racing is something of a risk.

 

They took the risk and added to the legacy.

He is really a special horse. He basically breezed through a 46-second first half mile yesterday, then pulled the hammer down at the 3/4 mark and it was all over by the mile...just coasted to the end, and he makes it look so easy.

That is about as effortlessly and easily you can win a horse race. Never asked to run by Espinoza at any point in the race. Merely a controlled scrimmage for him. Will be interesting to see who steps up to face him in the Travers if that is in fact where he goes next.

Good news is, no apparent injury to Mr. Jordan, he just cashed it in midway through. He has raced a lot, and he is going to get a lengthy rest on the farm to "just be a horse".

He did make it look easy, it's a joy watching someone/thing that dominant.

He won this race, The Pegasus, but he did veer to the outside in the stretch.

Man among boys, so to speak, or the equine equivalent. He turned it on and it was over very quickly.

Think it may be the Travers and then BC Classic for AP. Other possibility is PA Derby because of the timing and they have said they will jack up the purse.
