Is the cross the first step to renaming the team "Saints" or "Crusaders"?

I understand those who have a sentimental feeling towards the old one. But come on, it was awful. The new one and the new color is sharp. I hope, like others, they do blue helmets with a white logo.

Is the cross the first step to renaming the team "Saints" or "Crusaders"?

 

I would vomit if CCH were to be renamed the crusaders.

 

Crusaders were flipping terrorists just in a different time period.

 

Saints could be worse, though.

My little brother told me that the helmets will remain blue.

We may need a poll.

 

I'm in favor of the old helmets. This one reminds me of the school in Fort Thomas too much.

First, what does CCH stand for? Does Cov Cath know High School is 2 words? Shouldn't it be CCHS? Like HHS? Or is that too close to Campbell County?

 

I can see the Colonels nickname going into the PC dumpster soon - and I guess "Confederates" isn't an option - since HHS is the Bluebirds, how about the Crows? or keep it religious alliteration - Canon? Cardinal? Chiliasm? Congregation?

CCH stands for Covington Catholic High, and is used this way to describe the school historically. None more evident then the fight song.

I love the cross in it. I told a friend the other day NewCath needs a cross on their helmet back middle. I think all school of faith should show it in their logo

I like the new logo better than the old one.

What do you think? Personally, I'd like to see the Colonel logo (see @Colonels_Wear_Blue 's avatar. But hey, who cares what a Cake Eater thinks about it, right?! :lol2:
