I heard it should shave a couple tenths off of the average 40 time but I haven't confirmed that yet.

The cross looks like something from back at the time of the Inquisition.

 

A place for everything and everything in its place. I'm not sure a football helmet is the right place, unless it would be on the back of the helmet.

They wanted something simple and something to reflect Catholicism. I can respect that, but....

Wonder if the bishop had a say in this ... or said to get the cross in the logo.

The cross should be on the front crown of the helmet with the down spike colored thru the facemasks. Nothing like a wall of crosses coming at you.

I must say, when I saw Holy Cross (Cov) boys basketball play a few years ago they had a large cross on their warmups. I thought it looked great.

To be clear, the change has absolutely nothing to do with any perceived attempt at being politically correct.

I really want to see it on the helmet. Real logo on a real helmet and I believe it will look sweet. Foe example I dont look to good standing alone but standing next to LawnBoy I look like Brad Pitt.
