Reds 2015 Roster

Featured Replies

At this point, you would be selling low on Bruce. I would rather hold onto him and bet a comeback year. Sell in the season but now his value isn't where it can be. Unless they think he's just lost it.

The Reds are in the worst possible position to be, right in the middle. They might have enough talent to have a chance to make the playoffs. But if they try to go for it one last time next season, it could hurt the organization considerably in the future. I would hope the Reds would think long term about the roster, personally I wouldn't mind a few rebuilding years to retool the farm system and load up on young talent for future seasons. The Reds missed their opportunity in 2012 to make a deep post season run, and unfortunately they are trying to chase it again, but at what cost?

They have to go for it b/c the guys they can rid themselves of that would help are impossible to trade. Why not go for it and make deals at the trade deadline if you fall out of contention?

Go for it this year. If they are out of contention on July 31 then unload, until then see if health can get them back to the playoffs.

Who is the future? Who would you build around now? Votto, Bruce, Frazier ?

I think they're all in now because as was correctly stated in today's paper, the owner wants to win now and isn't getting any younger.

The player who would bring the most value is Chapman but don't see it happening.

Jon Morosi of FOX Sports and MLB Network:

"@jonmorosi: If Yoenis Cespedes is traded, Reds are an excellent fit. They want RH power in LF and have an arm to move. Boston still needs pitching."

2015 is going to suck.

2015 will be the best chance for a winning record in the next half decade plus...

Yep window closing fast. They had their chance and missed it

Morse signed a deal with the Marlins.
