The sooner Walt gets rid of his contract, the better. Cards didn't hesitate to send the popular Allen Craig to Boston when he failed to produce in '14 after an injury in September of '13. Reds need to move Votto similarly. He's simply not earning his salary. Walt should be fired for giving Votto that ridiculous contract...

While not a high average guy in the minors he showed pretty good plate discipline last year and his obp was high compared to most of the Red's hitters. He also showed a little bit of pop in GABP. G, I'm not into details as I used to be, but do you think because Castelinni pushed for that Votto contract he would never go to Votto and ask him to restructure the deal? I would think that would help a little.
