Physical game.

 

Dixie took care of business though and came away with a hard fought win. Lots of bodies were hitting the floor in this game.

 

St Henry will be a tough team to face for someone next week.

Congrats to Austin Schreck for making the all tournament team, and for being named district tournament MVP. Ive said multiple times here that he can do whatever is asked of him! A multi-tooled player.

 

Also, congrats to Dixie as a whole! Good team win, and I hope to see them perform well in the region!

His father was also a beast, two different type players though. Austin has a good nose for the ball, he is in the right place at the right time. A great trait to have, enjoyed watching him tonight.

Good to see Schreck continue to play well. Him and Rabe in the backcourt will be a tough duo next year.

 

Hatton is now 6 points away from 3k. Safe to assume that feat will be accomplished in the first round of the region tournament.

How is that an over and back violation if Dixie touched it last?

By your description it is not. My guess is the official doesn't agree with your description.

 

If I asked them my guess is they will tell me that Dixie hit the ball off of Rechtin. If so that would be a violation.

That would be my guess as well.

 

Offense can't be last to touch in the front court and first to touch in the back court. Doesn't matter if defense touched it or not.
