Physical game.

Dixie took care of business though and came away with a hard fought win. Lots of bodies were hitting the floor in this game.

St Henry will be a tough team to face for someone next week.

Congrats to Austin Schreck for making the all tournament team, and for being named district tournament MVP. Ive said multiple times here that he can do whatever is asked of him! A multi-tooled player.

Also, congrats to Dixie as a whole! Good team win, and I hope to see them perform well in the region!

Schreck was a beast tonight! The Cru really had no answer for him.

His father was also a beast, two different type players though. Austin has a good nose for the ball, he is in the right place at the right time. A great trait to have, enjoyed watching him tonight.

I don't wanna be that guy that brings up the refs but wow...

Must have overlooked that!

Good to see Schreck continue to play well. Him and Rabe in the backcourt will be a tough duo next year.

Hatton is now 6 points away from 3k. Safe to assume that feat will be accomplished in the first round of the region tournament.

Dixie has now won 17 of last 18.

Congrats to Dixie on the win.

Very fun atmosphere. Packed house with 2 large, energetic student sections. High school basketball at its finest!

Paging Clyde!

About a minute left in the game, Cru trailing by 2.

Nick Rechtin is dribbling the ball and gets just over the halfcourt line. Hatton knocks the ball away and ball goes over to the other side of the line. Rechtin goes back to the other side to retrieve the ball. Ref calls over and back on St Henry. Dixie gets possession at midcourt.

How is that an over and back violation if Dixie touched it last?

By your description it is not. My guess is the official doesn't agree with your description.

If I asked them my guess is they will tell me that Dixie hit the ball off of Rechtin. If so that would be a violation.

It looked to me like it was tipped by a St Henry player prior to going over the halfcourt line.

That would be my guess as well.

Offense can't be last to touch in the front court and first to touch in the back court. Doesn't matter if defense touched it or not.

It was bang bang with hands reaching for the initial deflection
