No idea. Since it isn't a KY Team/Coach I didn't take an active interest in it.

Didn't Specht win some national coaching award a couple years ago? Interesting that there is dissatisfaction with him at St. X if that is true. Any private school coach who moves to a public school doesn't surprise me. Even Rodenbaugh moving to Ryle wouldn't surprise me because of the private/public factors.

I keep reading that. Do you or someone else want to give us at least a hint? If it has nothing to do with his coaching, then Ryle better do their due diligence if they consider him.

Yes he violated a couple of them. Without getting into exactly what he did he violated the moral turpitude clause in his contract. He is also the Asst Principal at St X. He being asked to leave had nothing to do with football.

 

With that being said he would be a slam dunk hire for Ryle.

I don't see any possible reason why Coach Lickert would leave CC for Ryle. He is having success and building his program at CC (along with new state-of-the-art facilities). The Highlands job on the other hand would no doubt be attractive since he is a Highlands grad and already lives in Ft. Thomas. I see this as the only other job in No. KY that he would have any possible interest in.

 

If it isn't than it should be. Steve would be a great hire for Ryle..
