Very true. I was in a meeting with Jim this week and some others were peppering him with questions about the football coach selection process. Jim just smiled and said the process was going well with some good candidates.

It is rumored that the only 3 applicants were the Smith triplets - Chuck, Charles and Charlie. Each submitted 15 applications, so there will be one interview for each application. This could take a while.

Not even the kids know. I know one that asked and he was shut down, Not even a hint.

They will have a coach in place by the end of January and ready for spring workouts.

If you want some fresh blood and an updated offense why not call Letton?

Question, Ryle has no HC. Have they started an off season program yet? If so, who is running it? Would be a shame for this Ryle team who has rising talent to be stuck with a doofus head coach.

At this point, workouts are generally strength and conditioning training. Not that it wouldn't be a better idea to have that led by a HEAD coach, but still, there's no reason this can't be handled by an assistant coach for the time being. I think "by the end of January" isn't a bad timeline.

Wolf has paid his dues. He should get a chance. He needs to get a quality OC in there. (I heard he has one lined up) My only concern is that he can withstand the pressure from The triple crown mafia. Just because you have a little money does not equate to jack on the field. If your kid isn't good enough, he doesn't get on the field, or get to play QB, or whatever position to have dreamed for him. We seen last year when we don't get our young athletes the ball, nothing happens. When we did, we moved the ball and scored? This sophomore class ( soon to be juniors) should have a chance to tear it up. How about coaches coach, and parents sit in the bleachers and cheer for the team, or just shut up. You know it alls have done enough damage. You could always send your kid to private school.

I really hope the sophomore class does tear it up as juniors. We were told if you remember that England was going to be the best RB in the state last year.
