Sounds like it was a very good game. Hope the Ky boys can take them tonight.

Thought this was interesting from the article:

With nationally ranked players Blackmon, Bluiett, Indianapolis Tech’s Trey Lyles and Evansville Bosse’s JaQuan Lyle on the roster, it appeared the Indiana boys would have a significant advantage against a Kentucky team missing a couple of top players in University of Louisville commitment Quinten Snider and 6-8 Shane Hall.

That was hardly the case. Kentucky took a quick 10-2 lead and was up 71-60 midway through the second half. Justin Johnson, a 6-7 forward from Perry County Central, was a tough matchup for Indiana on the interior, scoring 20 points.

Justin Johnson playing well doesn't surprise me. He does the same thing against the same level of competition on the EYBL circuit.

I really think KY wins with Snider and Hall.

Hatton is also part of the "core" group. Kids that play in both games. I take it he is hurt still since he wasn't in boxscore.

Why were they not there?

What schools do Gilbert and Skelton attend, haven't heard much about them?

I believe Snider is in Vegas for a national Under Armor Camp...

Help me out GT, it isn't an NCAA observation period, so DI coaches can't be at this camp. Is that correct? If so, why have the camp now? I'm sure there are lots of "scouts" at the camp, but would it be a better idea to have it during a evaluation period? Your thoughts, please.

I know. What does he gain from it? He's coming back to Ballard. He's committed to UL. What does he gain by going to the camp instead of representing his state in the annual All Star game? His goal of being Mr. Basketball very well could have disappeared in Vegas this weekend.
