I heard tonight that Hatton will not be back next year. And he is by far the best player Dixie has.

 

Dixie would not beat Holmes, CovCath or NewCath next year even with Hatton.

I maintain NCC is going to the 10th with a few others.

 

Bolden was really good in the second half and I think McDonald ran out of gas.

 

The key in my opinion was that Holmes was able to fight to a draw on the boards and Englemon came to play.

 

Nice crowd and ridiculous traffic.

Just like they did this year, right. Oh no, I think NCC beat a good Brossart team by about 15 at Brossart this year. You have zero credibility.

Congrats to Holmes and NCC on playing a great game. That's what one would expect with the top two teams in the 9th squaring off. Did the college floor favor either team tonight? I thought it might favor Holmes since they are quicker vs the bigs of NCC. Any thoughts?

Cov Cath and Holmes will be way better than New Cath next year again. Good job Holmes.

 

Although Holmes and CovCath will be excellent next season, to say that they will be "way better" is simply ignorant.

 

NCC returns Schulte, McDonald, Weyer, and Pangallo and will be very solid.

New Cath needs to stick to their little All A classic tournament. Playing those class A teams like Latin School, Ludlow, Villa etc.

Id have lost a LOT of money if you told me that these teams tied in rebounding last night.

Holmes is clearly the best team up here. New Cath was way way overated. Better team won. Holmes came out of the toughest district in the state. Holmes, Holy Cross and Cov Cath were all better than New Cath. Had they won tonight Cooper would have beaten them, Cov Cath would have beaten them AGAIN. Decent team but about the 5th best in the region.

 

No way is New Cath rated that low. I think Holmes and New Cath are the 2 best teams in the region.

Bolden has to have the best crossover in the state. Right before the end of the first half he did a crossover on Devoto, waited, Devoto regrouped and then Bolden crossed him over again and just about had Devoto on the ground. This kid is special and fun to watch.
