Holmes was the better team. These two should battle it out again next year. Look for Holmes to win again. The following year ncc moves to the 10th. Maybe they can finally win one there.

Congrats to Holmes! Should be a good matchup against Cooper, or atleast I hope. Sullivan tends to get his guys up for games like this. Although i think Holmes would do a fine job of representing the 9th in Lexington.

 

Tough game, and tough out for NCC. Great group of young kids, and I think they'll be back at it next year. McDonald was a BEAST this year! I think he'll only get better over the summer, along with Pangallo and Schulte, and I have to believe the young Weyer will be consistently running the floor with them next year.

I'm not an NCC fan, but NCC was better than Holy Cross and what I saw of Cooper. They were definitely top 3 in the region.

You kind of lost any rational thought as you went along. Didn't NCC beat Holy Cross a couple of times? And beat Holmes at Holmes? And beat Cooper at Cooper?

Holmes was the better team tonight but you should have left it at that.

Couldn't disagree more. NCC as 5th best is laughable IMO. Sounds like you have something against them. They are a top 3 squad IMO along with Holmes (who they already beat) and CCH. Tough draw for them. To lose to Holmes, by 5, after already beating them, and called them "way, way overrated" is just absurd in my book. That team has talent.

New Cath needs to stick to their little All A classic tournament. Playing those class A teams like Latin School, Ludlow, Villa etc.
