Really feel for Seibert and Beuter and the other seniors for the Breds. Just a terrible draw.

 

Hope NCC looks back and realizes all they accomplished this year. Only second team ever to win All A State, I believe. Great season.

Just wasn't their night...it happens to everyone at some point. Some people think that players that don't have great games somehow didn't want to win as bad as others.....big myth.

Holmes didn't play stall ball...it's called being smart...same thing Newcath and Boone did to teams last year. Holmes forced the tempo in the second half and if they had the ball with under 2 mins left they were patient.

And actually, New Cath did some of this slow down last night as well due to foul trouble on their side.

Walter Holmes did play stall ball in first half. IMO they did it cause they didn't want NewCath to jump out to a big lead. It was kinda of boring and High School does need to have a shot clock. They held the ball for 3 min first time I ever saw Holmes do that. I guess it showed that NewCath is a pretty good team that they needed to do that. Thought it was a good move for Holmes Coach. IMO
