The HC radio announcers have always called a non biased game.Didnt hear the radio but I was at the game and I could see where their emotions may have got in the way .

McClendon 1for2 from beyond the three point line which is 50%.And holycross won .so she doesn't have to shoot a lot of 3's.She gets to the bucket and scores.

McClendon maybe not known for her three point shooting.However,I believe she shot over 40% from there last year .She just doesn't take a lot of them.

The girls game is Thursday, 7 pm. Boys championship is Friday

To answer two questions from the update thread. Coffey did play and handled the ball very well against SK tight man to man defense and as far as when Meier is coming back, I don't know but saw her with a boot on each foot.

Bluebirds had their way with SK inside and out .Also SK must of turned the ball over at least 20 times it seems.

Simon Kenton is way to high on the rankings but funny they are ranked ahead of Highlands.

I think the lack of other girls for HHS not stepping up to score besides Alder and their center who had a couple nice post moves.Also they missed a couple nice cuts that I thought could of been layups .

Good defensive game by both teams.Highlands fronting the bigs and chasing Turner all game.Holycross playing matchup zone and then going to man late .

You're right,they played that way back in 2009 to go to state .It worked then and probably will work now.Great coaching .IMO.Still need a shot clock.LOL

Kids need to stop following the ball and start watching the belly.If they would do that ,their ankles wouldn't get broke as much.
