The Crosstown Rivals will meet again this Thursday at 7 o'clock in the Championship game for the 35th district at Holmes.

Holmes knocked off NDA 59-40 while Holy Cross Rolled over Beechwood 65-36 in the semifinals of the tournament.

Earlier this season the Lady Indians held the bulldogs to 16-60 shooting (26%) giving the Bulldogs their lone loss of the season falling 51-47

The Lady Bulldogs come into this game with a 28-1 record

The Lady Indians come into this game with a 25-3 record

With a district championship on the line, who wins this battle? Why?

HC by 3

Holmes by 9

Same score as first time. HC is a tough match-up for Holmes.

Should be an electrifying atmosphere in that gym Thursday night. HC is a bad matchup for Holmes but that being said Holmes is playing good basketball and on a mission right now, I'll take HC in a nail biter from start to finish!

I'm going to take Holmes in this one, but in a close one! Win by 1-3 points! This gym is going to be packed, it's going to be a great game. As Pather15 said Holmes is playing good basketball and is on a mission. This is going to be a great game from the start to finish.

Is the game Thursday or Friday?

I pick Holmes, since they defeated the better opponent in convincing fashion to get to the title game. I also think that Holmes will pull this out from just pure losing at home to HC in the regular season. REVENGE!!!

Friday the 27th

Is the game Thursday or Friday?

Thursday. The boys finals are Friday! KHSAA says Friday but it's on Thursday the 26th

The girls game is Thursday, 7 pm. Boys championship is Friday

Flip a coin and it stands straight up! HC by 2 in OT.

I agree...flip a coin. Should be another outstanding game. But honestly, it really doesn't mean too much other than the district title and bragging rights.

This is really too close to call, the game could go either way. But, I'll go with Holmes in this one. After losing to HC earlier this season it should spark a fire in them to punch back and take the title. But this will be a nail bitter and a GREAT atmosphere. Gym will be PACKED

Sorry about the date, i blame the KHSAA on posting the wrong date.
