I'd take Englemon over Schulte as they were matched up more (McDonald over Chames). Rest, I agree with.

 

Also, during the game if it didn't go into McDonald,NCC didn't have a whole lot going on. Would of cleared a side and posted up Seibert on Coston some.

Or put McDonald at the elbow and posted up Seibert. Holmes was giving them that elbow shot. McDonald can hit that shot and make them guard him giving Seibert the low post to work.

IMO. Pangallo should of guarded Bolden the whole game and kept the ball out of his hands. He is a very good defender and is quick enough to hang with Bolden. When he was on him Bolden didn't score I don't think. Walter can confirm this since he was video taping it. Bolden is to quick for Seibert.

You are 100 percent correct. Holmes clearly is a better team than NCC.

Are you questioning the NCC coach? There is no one in the region that can guard Beetle. If Beetle isn't flying by NCC defenders he is getting fouled. Pick your poison.

This is what I was wondering... They basically were playing a double team out front and 4 on 3 shell underneath.... What I feel like would've happened had they consistently done this is maybe force a few bad/quick shots by the guys that Holmes didn't necessarily want shooting them... However, I feel like if it was consistently beating them, then eventually it would've resulted in a slew of layups and dunks by the bigs... But maybe if they had done the double earlier then it would've negated that 3rd quarter Holmes run that essentially won them the game, and everything evens up, and maybe were still playing.... figuratively, of course....

I don't disagree with you Bolden will get his points he is that good. The less be has the ball in his hands the better off you are. Pangallo is quick enough to contain him not stoping him. In the first game against between Holmes and NewCath in OT Pangallo was denying the ball from Bolden and it work that's why Newcath won that game and also it got Bolden a little tired which he should of been cause he was the only one that did anything in that 4 th Q. Now this is just my opinion not saying it would of worked. NewCath had a Great Season. Holmes was just a little better then them the other night. I wish Holmes Good Luck hopefully they win the region and do some demand down state.

Btw we all know now that Wa Wa is a youngster considering the 200+ comments made on this game NO ONE including Walter has called Bolden " Beetle ".
