This is the game Russell finally gets a W. In a perfect world, Russell should be 2-1, at best, and should be 1-2 coming into this game. Nevertheless, this isn’t the case. I think Russell runs away with this one. I think Russell finally puts up some crooked numbers on the scoreboard and hold Boyd to only a couple scores.

Russell gets a W but......happy Boyd won a couple of games but Fairview and South Point are not good at all.

Russell wins by greater than 3 TD’s. If it’s closer than that, it’s going to be a real long season on Red Devil Hill.

With superior talent and numbers, Russell should win this game going away. It just comes down to the mental state of the Red Devils. If their hearts are still in it, and they come out fired up and focused, this one should be over quickly. But anything less than that could result in a four quarter struggle. No offense to Boyd County, but Russell shouldn't have to grind out a win over the Lions, and they have no business losing to them.
