HoopJunkie
I mean did ya not see the title of the thread?!?!?! I was making a joke. He’s hopped around quite a bit between high school and college. He was the Eminence coach for about a week last year.

HoopJunkie
Where did he go from there? Kentucky Wesleyan. Then when Happy resigned mid season, he became the interim coach.
The Professor
I was making a joke. He’s hopped around quite a bit between high school and college. He was the Eminence coach for about a week last year. He hasn’t “hopped around quite a bit”. He was at Georgetown with Happy for around 7 or 8 years, then didn’t coach for a few years and was in the insurance business. Then he was at Valdosta State for either 2 or 3 years, not sure. Came back to Kentucky to be closer to his family (wife is a principal at a Scott County elementary school). He did take the Eminence job for a short time but he changed his mind and went to Kentucky Wesleyan to assist Happy. He was head coach there for most of this year after Happy resigned for health reasons.

Anyhow, the last 3 years have included 2 colleges and a high school that he left high and dry. Valdosta, Eminence, KWC, now Ashland... hasn’t hopped at all. It’s the life of a coach though. Hopefully he’s found his spot.

Hopefully he’s found his spot. He was at LCA for one year in a volunteer capacity. He was there right before he went to Valdosta. He was not officially on their staff as a hired coach. Volunteer only. This was after selling insurance for several years and he decided he missed basketball too much to stay away from the sport. LCA was nice enough to allow him to be a part of their program for the year after he had been away from basketball for a while.
