Lexy Breen newest member of Newport Central Catholic's 1,000 point club

On senior night last week, Lexy Breen scored her 1,000th point for the lady Breds. She is averaging 11.7 points per game and has made more 3 pointers than 2 pointers this season.

The amazing young lady has lettered in 3 sports (volleyball, basketball and softball) every season including her freshman year. She has also won the "Thoroughbred" award 7 times.

And if you think she excels on the sports scene, she is also a Governors scholar. Truly a gifted individual. Great kid from a great family!

Wasn’t sure where to post this since she plays 3 sports, but Lexi was just named GCSA girl athlete of the year. She has been having Ann outstanding year in softball as well.
