camelman
Wow. Not in doubt, but Newport and Holy Cross still playing semifinal right now.

Oldercoach
Newport is super athletic but very prone to helter-skelter with turnovers. If BW can't hit the boards hard, think Wildcats win by double digits.

NKYknowitall
I don’t expect a beat down like what took place yesterday, but i do expect a comfortable Newport win.
Voice of Reason
Newport is super athletic but very prone to helter-skelter with turnovers. If BW can't hit the boards hard, think Wildcats win by double digits. Rebounding will be a huge factor in the game. Baugh has to stay out of foul trouble and on the court for Beechwood. Harding had a big game for Newport the first time these teams played and Beechwood needs Baugh to help contain Harding. Can the Tigers slow down Burries? This is huge factor number 2. Burries put on a show in game 2 last night. He had no conscience about when and where he took shots and they were all going in. He took several three pointers that would get most players benched and made them. Big factor number three is making Newport play half court offense. The Tigers cannot allow Newport to get run out baskets. Beechwood girls game tonight versus Newport has been moved to Monday night to allow fans of both schools attend tonight's boy final at Newport. Go Tigers! Edited January 20, 2018 by EyeOfTheTiger
