Mustang
Bracken County really struggles to score points this season. Saw where in this one they only had 9 at half and 17 through three periods. With that said, the Polar Bears get after you (in a street game sense) and blocked a plethora of Brossart shots. The Bracken County unit looks more suited to football, which has caught on in Brooksville. Coach Brausch was in the house watching some of his gridiron veterans duke it out on the hardwood. Losing Austin Crawford and Brady Jones removed 35 points per game from the Polar Bears offense and it is sorely missed at the present time. I did think that the freshman team had some promising players coming up. I continue to believe that our Mustangs are a tough opponent for teams that depend on only a few players to log 32 minutes. We placed 11 scorers in the scoring column again tonight, with the ability to platoon units of "starting capable" players throughout the contest. Mustang
The Brossart freshmen are 6-1 with a loss to a good St. Henry squad who played CovCath to single digits.
