KnightTime07
If this is in the wrong section, please move it to the correct one. Is your school more successful and invested in basketball or football or maybe both?

barrel
How many basketball championships they got? Countless mythical ones lol. You know how it is. We have more kids going D1 basketball to UK and the NBA than any school. It's their perception not the reality

NKY Bandit
SK was once all basketball...now it's transitioned to a football school. Went from 90% BB to 75% FB.
PurplePride92
Great question. Boyle County is a football school first and foremost but in the recent years basketball has been more successful than football. I think people in the area root for success more in football than they do in basketball and the other sports but overall the Boyle County school system has done a good job of ensuring all of the sports programs have what they need to be successful. I think all of the sports programs will continue to be successful at Boyle County and I also think the football program returns to the success we are accustomed to seeing the football team have sooner rather than later. The Professor
My school is basketball all the way as far as interest in the community. Actually, we don't have football. There's a group of county school systems in my area that have never had football. Owsley, Lee, Wolfe, Menifee, and Elliott. I think Buckhorn, who is in the Perry County system, had football for a short period a long time ago.
