Does trinity and St. X have cuts? I would say if there are any teams in the state that would it would be the powerhouse schools.

Any stats? How did Magness stat line look like?

Henry County has a pretty nice field as well.

I hate to disagree, but I think that Owen Co has a very tqlented team this year and will give Gallatin all they can handle.

I cant see trimble winning, but Owen and Gallatin both look like the favorites to me. Isn't Henry moving back down to all a?

Who do you think will be the all "a" favorites then? Owen?

#15 Tyler Cox pitched for Hc until they got down 4-0 in the 3rd, then they brought in #20 Anthony Palmer. Shelby pitched #16, Coty Minnis, and #15 (sorry for not knowing the names). Henry is a tough team and I hope nobody underestimates them the rest of the way.

I will be the first to say that Maddox is in my opinion the second best player in the region. He makes his whole team better and is an outstanding player. I just think CJ is the most dominant player and the hardest player to stop in the region.

IMO, Anderson is the favorite to win it. I think they were one year away last year and I think this will be there year. I think the best player is, from AC, CJ Penny.

Ogden has always been a good pitcher...and I would say for the smaller school he is the real deal.

There is a large parking lot graveled up as of now. I saw it today, so parking will not be that bad. the headache will come from having only one entrance into the gym.

Henry County is redoing the whole school...and parking will only get worse. I have an uncle who works for the construction at Henry County and he said that it will probably be a mess by then. there is only parking on the far side of the school and the back now, so parking is slim. Also the side of the road is getting torn up, so they may have to figure something out for the tourney.

I agree with spillywilly. I actually think they will get beat by 10+. It is really hard to come back and play any game the day after an emotional game versus a good team, and even harder to turn around and play against te best of the region.

Henry is no where close to where they were last year, as they lost 6 senirs and 4 starters, but the younger players are playing well and I really wouldnt be suprised to see them really really competitive by the end of the season.

I went. Henry Co was up by 19 in the fourth and Carroll made a run at them and cut it to 5 at one time. It was a pretty good game, Henry had the post offense during the game but seemed to struggle with defensive rebounding. Carroll could be good if they gel.

Does anyone know how many points hinkle (big man from HC) scored?

Congrats to the Wildcats. I heard that the students tore the goal post down after the game, and the AD went nuts.

Henry Co. won 15-7. hte henry co. students tore the goal post down haha. Thats the dumbest thing I have ever heard.

I don't know the score, but HC is winning. thats all I have gotten so far, and that was about fifteen minutes ago, so who really knows now.

TB&G, you know the way that I felt about Bird. I will truly miss watching him play. Trimble is a bit of a rival school to Henry but I still watched Trimble play 3 games this year because of Mr. Bird. I pray that he recovers and gets to move his game on to the next level, because he was a special, special player.

Coming from a fan of neither team, Bird is amazing. Carlton is a great runner, and will be the best in the conference next year, but there is no doubt in my mind on this one. Bird, if he stays healthy, WILL break the state record for single season rushing. He is spectacular and I honestly believe he is the best back in 1A and he is one of the best backs in the state period. Since I have been alive I have not witnessed a better RB than Mr. Bird. Trust me, he is the best. I am putting that in the most non biased form that I can.

I am going for Trinity because I like their Jerseys
