No. I am sad to say I could not go last night or tonight.

I went. Henry Co was up by 19 in the fourth and Carroll made a run at them and cut it to 5 at one time. It was a pretty good game, Henry had the post offense during the game but seemed to struggle with defensive rebounding. Carroll could be good if they gel.

Did CC have a bad night? When Gallatin played Henry last Friday, I thought Henry was not as good as I remember them being from last season. To beat CC like this does not bode well for CC later this week...

Henry is no where close to where they were last year, as they lost 6 senirs and 4 starters, but the younger players are playing well and I really wouldnt be suprised to see them really really competitive by the end of the season.

Keep your head up Panthers! You are a young team with little varsity experience, things will get better as the season progresses. It's going to take some time to put it all together, and once you do we will be hard to stop. Keep working hard every day and it will pay off. Beat Gallatin!!!!!

Congratulations on the win HC. I believe Carroll is a very young team; they need to get back to basics and understand they can be competitive even with their lack of experience at the varsity level. It appeared last night as if too many turnovers and bad shots lead to much frustration on the court.

These boys need to put 4 whole quarters together. They only scored 6 points in the 1st quarter. If you can play with the intensity and determination you did in the 4th in 3 more quarters, you would be much better.

 

I know that we are young, but all the juniors and some of the sophomores saw a lot of playing time last year and starting time last year. You have to run your offense with precision and realize you are strong and can handle under the boards. Set screens, communicate and use the glass and square. That is why it is there. There are no sportscenter highlights in high school basketball.

Both teams have the skills to be good by the end of the year. They'll get it together and have two good seasons! Good luck teams!
