WOW!! This really surprises me. Looks like a bad night for Anderson, although I guess any night with a win should be considered a good night. I don't recall a game seeing Penny get less that 20. He ok?

Congratulations Gallatin!! I love to see an Oldham get beat. Hit your foul shots and you shouldn't have any trouble with Oldham. Watch out for Dunlap, though. He can ruin your night, quickly, if allowed.

It seemed as if Carroll came in intimidated. Dunlap had an impressive night. Scored a majority of his points in the 2nd quarter. He is definitely tough. Oldham does have a weakness. They are a fouling bunch. While they did not have anyone foul out, Carroll was in the bonus for most of the game. If you can hit your foul shots, that will keep you in the game.

Sounds like a great game! Trimble is on the fast track to making an impact at districts this year.

In the past the A can be a momentum builder or killer to all teams, not speaking of Gallatin specifically. I think it is a distraction to the Real District and Regional Tournament. I have never been a proponent of this tournament. But I am sure Coach Jones will prepare for this and Gallatin will be ready to play. But Anderson is still building their momentum because they haven't reached a State tournament yet. They could be a little more hungry. Just my opinion....

Wow..sorry to hear about the loss. Sounds like a tough one. Just rebound and prepare for the real State Tournament.

Anderson is pretty impressive. I think I have to give them the edge over Gallatin. I really think it depends on how Gallatin does in the A Tourney.

Congratulations to the Wildcats...they played solid game. They made adjustments in the 2nd half that rattled the panthers and their recovery did not come soon enough. But they are making strides in becoming a much improved basketball team and if there is a 4th match up in districts I think Carroll will be that much more focused after this defeat. I know Gallatin will represent the 8th well in Richmond. Hope we can make it to support the region. Congrat to Coach Jones and his team.

On paper, Gallatin has everything going for them. But that is why the games are won on the floor and not on paper. I am hoping for the upset, but what I am hoping for the most is a good clean game. Carroll should win this game by 10 or more. But they can't overlook their competition

Congratulations to Trimble. I haven't been to too many girls games this year and was not able to see the girls play in the A. But I did watch the Carroll Trimble game and felt so bad for Miller after that game. From what I have seen Trimble always plays hard and never gives up no matter who their opponent is. They expect that they can win every game played. Congrats to Trimble. I hope we can make it down to watch the games in Richmond!!

Panthers can't overlook Friday's game. It is not an automatic lock to the Finals. Good game overall. Still some mental mistakes and playing a little flat. Yager, Cable and Hendrick were definitely the spark for the team.

I did think the ref situation was odd, as well. That was definitely a tough gig for them. Good Luck to the Cats against Ryle! I love seeing the little guy bringing it to the big schools.

Great game and great atmosphere. Even though the panther's did not come out on top, they played a heck of a game, as did Gallatin. The Jones boys played very well. Balance scoring across the board. Yager was on fire tonight!! Great game, but freethrows were definitely the factor. I think that Carroll only shot 10 or so and it seemed that Gallatin shot over 30 and really did not miss that many. Great game. Always a big rivalry. :ylsuper:

Not threadjacking here, but wanted to thank Buttels for update on Neeley. I wondered where he went to school. I knew that he would be a great asset at the next level.
