Lol, 164 then. I know Eminence has a good shot because they are always fired up for this game. The people in Eminence think that if there team is 10-1 with the loss coming from HC, it was bad bad year, or 1-10 with a win against HC is a good year. I have been associated with Eminence for years and I know this is a lot of the fans mentality. They will do whatever it takes, and they could possibly pull it off...but I don't see it happening.

Eminences back will still have a good game. He is there main player, and HC will not be able to completely shut him down. He is quick and pretty talented, but I don't think he will do as well as the Eminence fans believe he will. I will still expect a couple big runs from him Friday evening. Mr. reciever, whoever he may be, better look out though. Henry's secondary has been pretty good this year, with the exception of the Trimble game imo.

I do think that it will come down to defense. I think just because Eminence has a few players with a lot of speed, they aren't going to be able to utilize the speed if their line cannot block for there running back Durrett (I believe that is his name). I just think of the way HC was able to slow down Bird to 150 yards (which is sad when that is slowing him down), and he ran for over 300 I believe against Eminence. Bird is the best back I have seen and I just think that HC's defense is pretty strong.

You know, I think Eminence will do OK because they always do well against Henry County, but your alls points against the Cats are awful. I can't see how you are going to bring in Trimble Co., the same Trimble Co. that beat you all 60-14, and use them in your defense. I would say Henry played them a little bit closer. You all a little bit of speed, but speed doesn't matter if you can't block for that speed. Henry's line will do fine, and your alls secondary will struggle stopping Dunaway or the other recievers that HC has. I have seen both play, and if this wasn't a rivalry game and the game that Eminence judges their season by, I would pick HC by 4 touchdowns.

They are 3 miles down 55 from Henry County High School. Tihs is a huge rivalry in Henry County. They are probably 30 minutes from both Trimble and Frankfort and probably 50 minutes from Gallatin. Talentwise, they are the lesser of the 4. I say Henry County by 1 TD, because Eminence always comes out firing at all cylinders against HC.

He graduated. It was just a joke. I think Owen will be pretty decent this year. Gamble is tough and the Perkins kid is an inside presence.

Trust me, I know it would make a huge difference bc he is an incredible athlete. I meant it wouldnt change the outcome. Trust me, I know what this kid can do. I watched them play last year and he was remarkable.

I don't think it matters if they have Fields or not, they should still win by a pretty decent spread. I will have to say Frankfort 45, Gallatin 26.

Wow, they did what they had to do. Bird was taken away I guess and they still won big. Congrats TC from a HC fan.

How many yards did Bird have though?

I personally think that Anderson will be the team to beat this year. JMO, but they return almost everything and as long as Drury is their coach they are going to be well disciplined. I think it will come down between Anderson and the OC.

Grant Co. a small school? Grant County is a 5A team in football. They are far from small. Williamstown will be at the botom again. Carroll will be better but they will still struggle. From what I saw in the summer, Owen looked pretty strong with the Gamble kid becoming their new Neely/Toole. It seems like they have on good player every year.

I expect a huge game out of Bird, but I see Henry winning this by a 3 point margin or less. I dont know what kind of score to predict, but I will say somewhere around 28-31 HC. Bird will score, but I believe Henry will too and there defense is always pretty good.

I have heard alot of talk about the Trimble and Ludlow game, so I was just wondering what everyone is thinking about the Henry County/ Casey County game. I don't know anything about Casey County, so I was wondering if someone could tell me a little about this game. Thanks.

Your right. He has developed into an excellent ball player.

He moved to Henry County during his sophomore year, never playing organized basketball. He turned out great, but I am talking about good established talent. The kids that dont have to learn the game. You all got edmonson, a great talent who was already established. Thats what I am saying.

I agree, I just didnt know if he was good enough to make them a favorite. Then again, they didnt really need too much to become the fav.

I am not saying anything bad, I just wish my school had that kind of luck.

Wow, if true that sure will help them a lot. they graduated the tall kid they had last year. If this kid is good, which it sounds like he is, would that put Anderson as the favorite for the region?

I am and will never accuse GC of anything, but you all sure are lucky when it comes to transfers. You all seem to get a good ball player every year to add to your squad. I guess I am kind of jealous.

The Russell kid is tough. he can shoot the ball and post up. I tihnk there guards are one year away from being good. they are all going to be sophomores right?

You are correct in almost all aspects. I have always thought that your best players were Perkins, Brown, and Maddox. I think it will take them a while to find their new leader, as I always thought Perkins was a great leader. I thikn they will be extremely competitive again, I just don't thikn they will do as well as they did last year. They had tons of success last year, as they should tis year as well. Gallatin will make it to All A state again and the regional tourney. I don't thikn they will be good enough to knock off a top contender(ie Shelby last year) again. JMO though.
