Just curious, which teams(if any) that made it to the All A State Tournament will we likely see in March?

They probably meant that he had not been held back.

And it is strange to hold a kid back for no academic reason? There are plenty of good students getting an extra year. There are several middle schools that have players that look like they drove to the game--I seriously doubt that 1/4 of these teams have that many kids that have actually failed. Just look at the good AAU teams and their 3 exemptions.

Why do we not have a 2A, 3A, etc. tournament as well?

Actually, if they had made 5 of 5, Powell would have probably shot 36 shots instead of 35 or ever how many they needed. This should have been one of the best home cooked meals they had in a while.

I'm not sure...but I believe Pulaski made 4 of the 5 free throws they shot. I can't speak for all of the games at Powell but this one was ridiculous.:irked:

Right, it should be about the kids. Officials who are found to invent calls or purposely not see calls should not be officials. There needs to be some kind of accountability. There are some very good officials out there and one bad apple can make the whole crew look bad.

I doubt any of these kids/coaches got a taste of their own medicine, I do not believe they were playing or coaching at Pulaski in the early 90's.

What is the # to be considered Class A?

Did McCreary receive a technical for the ejection of the player?

Any word on the SL player that was hurt during the 2nd half?

What is the current #? Does it have anything to do with being in Class A?

Which is probably one reason the Jumpers chose to play in a different district.

What feeder program? Keep up with Somerset....didn't Pulaski win the district the last two years? They appear to have "kept up with them pretty well".

Ty is doing fine. He is currently playing football @ Sheridan High School in Indiana (currently ranked #1).

Which schools are actually playing "out of class"?

Right--the Taylor Co. game that wouldn't have been a district game for them had they played in the class they were supposed to. Just get a little tired of reading those headlines about how they continue to win district games (15th straight I believe). Well duh....when was the last time they actually played in "their" district. They are a good team and I am sure they could have had some success in 2A where they belong.

It is one thing when you are in a district because it is where you are supposed to be. It is an entirely different story when you petition to get out of one of the toughest classes (according to another thread on strength of the classes) and play-up into a class that is at the bottom of this list. Just curious....how many other schools are playing out of their class?

Actually, according to KHSAA alignment they should be 2A where I believe they have already been beaten by one of those little 2A teams. After looking at the teams they left and those they went to--I wouldn't try to use that "playing up" line--Everyone, regardless of their size should have to play in whatever class their enrollment dictates. And quite frankly, you have beat that little 1A school line to death. It seems when you win it is because you are so great (tradition, tradition) but when you lose it is because the other school should win because they are soooo much bigger.
