What about concession stands....

Featured Replies

The thread has been started about best and worst gyms.

What about concession stands. Who has the best snacks and who needs to be upgraded.

Also, what is the most unique item offered. Not just the Frito bag with cheese and skyline put in it.

What's out there...........

I don't like concession stands where you get something to eat on one side, a drink on the other side, so you have to stand in two lines to get both.

Nothing better than popcorn at a game. Also, like the pretzel options.

Always my number 1 option while at a game. I think the constant eating of the popcorn keeps me from saying somethings that I know I shouldn't, like "Hey Mr. Official, that was a foul. You have a good day".

The concession stand at Augusta is top notch and those that head it up take great pride in maintaining. Its like visiting a Sams Club and eating samples from what they have to offer. I know those that are associated with Augusta are satisfied:D

I haven't seen a concession stand that tops the one in Augusta. It's located on the stage so you don't miss a bit of the action. The prices are very reasonable, comparable or cheaper than most others around. And the selection is HUGE. Nachos, hamburgers, cheeseburgers, hot dogs, a variety of chips, pickles, popcorn, chewing gum, bubble gum, many different candy bars, many different types of candy, pepsi products and gatorade. I may have even left something out. It's worth a look and the gym just adds to the experience.

I always thought they just was clearing out Coach Kelsch's fridge.:D;):p

I have been to Letcher Centrals a couple of times and was very impressed. They had some really good potato wedges and fresh fried "donut holes".mmmmm good

I thought that the concession stand at Bracken County was very complete - the Pork Tenderloin sandwiches would bring me back.

Pendleton County (one of those drinks on one side and chow on the other) is also tops. Great soft pretzels and cheese!

I wonder how long it will take to start a thread with our All Concession Stand Team members?

Lawrence Co.'s popcorn can't be beat. $1 for a LARGE paper sack full of butter and corn!!

I am sure you forgot that 3rd ingredient of basketball game popcorn............SALT!!!!!!!!!!! Got to build up those drink sales.

Bourbon County's is too far from the gym.......if you ask me. Augusta's is tops!

No doubt about it...

Augusta does have a good location for the concession stand on the stage where you can watch the game while your waiting on your food, I've often stood there watching the game while eating.
