  1. Coach Carwile is he, and Daniel Orton is being heavily recruited by UK. However, Daniel Orton has no affiliation with Coach Carwile, I was stirring the pot nanatoad. Coach Cam is a beast.
  2. I wonder if it happens to be a coincidence that a 10th Region coach, an executive for WKYT, and a University of Kentucky coach were spotted on a golf course in Lexington durng Lex Cath's team camp.
  3. Jordan Gilbert and Treg Setty from Mason County.
  4. I think its just more the opposite imo, I think Pike County Central has a lot coming back. Could someone from that area shed some light on this. I am thinking they were a young ball club. This kind of caught me by surprise as I thought Pike County Central had a lot coming back.
  5. I did not know he was available, but with Norman Dale and Pete Bell resurfacing, anything can happen.
  6. Norman Dale is the da man for the job. He might even bring his high profile assistant with him if the situation is right.
  7. Hey PK, if these guys had your personality, they could walk in any door of the commonwealth and land a job.
  8. Darius Miller is epitome of what Mr. Basketball is to the commonwealth. He is not only a super basketball player and teammate, he is even a better young man. I have seen this to many times with my own eyes on how he treats people (old and especially the kids) off the court. He always takes the time to come over and say hi, or sign an autograph. As stated above, a super basketball person, but an even better young man. Congrats Darius on all your awards.
  9. Sorry just got caught in the moment while I was posting, made me upset because he was playing so well.
  10. No cheap shot was intended, he needs to play the game and stop the talking. I want Louisville to win.
  11. Looks like all is alive and well on preps, been awhile since I have been on, but things never change. The best team always wins. Heard an interesting statistic over the weekend, since 1960 Mason Co/ Maysville has played in the region final 63% of the time while at the Fieldhouse. There is 2 exceptions, 1969 and 2008 where the % jumps to 100%. Hello Northern Kentucky. Nice technical Preston.
  12. Mason County Girls Basketball is going to take their hard knocks the next couple of years. After that, strap your seatbelt on, and get ready for the ride. The 5th, 6th, 7th, and 8th grade teams are absolutely loaded. 8th grade players are Bailey Menke, Katelyn Smith, Kierra Gibbs, Alicia Moore, Christen Cropper, and Courtney Moran dressed Varsity. At the 8th grade level, this team went 41-5. 7th grade class are Taylor Allen, Mckayla Likins, Mariah Henry, and Justice Morton. Taylor and Mckayla played Freshman basketball this year gaining valuable experience. Their 7th grade team went 32-4. The 6th grade class, Allison Breeze, McKenzie Butler, Elle Simms, Charnele Brooks, and Naisha Morton went 27-3 for the school year. As you can see, with the talent coming up, good times are ahead for Mason County Girls Basketball. But, patience is definitely is going to be a virtue. Next year starting line up could consist of 2 juniors, 2 freshman, and a 7th grader. Youth will be a problem, but experience will be gained. Lady Royals Region Champs in 2010. BALLIN'
  13. As I posted earlier I like Mason as preseason No. 1.
  14. Starters- Russ Middleton and Keith "Mr. Defense" Downing Bench- Ryan Hamm, Neal Pawsat, Treg Setty, Phil Barner, Jordan Gilbert, Mandela Rice, Westin Stahl, Justin Lang, Bradley Lang, Ryne King.
  15. I believe Mason should be ranked No. 1 as well, with the likes of Middleton,Downing, and Hamm returning. The JV finished 16-1, the freshman finished 20-1. Mason will field a highly competitive team next year with a deep and talented bench. Winning is contagious, and they have the bug.
  16. I will be incognito, hope to see all, especially nanatoad.
  17. Regular Season- Mason Co. 69 Montgomery Co. 55 Mason Co. 71 Montgomery Co. 65 Mason Co. 67 Clark Co. 50 Post Season Mason Co. 68 Clark Co. 45 Mason Co. 68 Montgomery Co. 54(prediction) based on averages. Good Luck to Both Teams.
  18. 40th District Final- Clark Co. 91 Montgomery Co. 69 10th Region Semi-final Mason Co. 68 Clark Co. 45 10th Region Final????????????????????????????????? Throw scores out the window and watch 2 good basketball teams fight for a berth in Rupp.
  19. If Mason pressures Stull like I think they will, Mason wins. Let Stull get untracked and hit a few shots it will be a nail-biter. Defense wins championships.
  20. It will be worth the price of admission. I like Mason's chances, 71-62.
