He was the odds on favorite going into the season anyway. Committing to UK probably sealed the deal for him early on.

Unless the Kentucky Lions Eye Foundation (organization that presents the award) just happens to be making a "special announcement" at the Fieldhouse today about something else, I'd say it's pretty official.

In no way am I saying that he does not deserve it (because he completely does), but it is hilariously ironic that it happens the day that Hopson commits to UT. Not intended, but ironic.

Can't wait to watch Miller play at Kentucky. Look for him and the Cats to have a great year.
