Should be a great one at Montgomey Co. Mason Co will be the favorite , but don't count out the Indians. What are your thoughts?

This will be a good one in Montgomery. Mason only won by 6 up there, so who knows with that crowd up there.

It will be worth the price of admission. I like Mason's chances, 71-62.

Mason wins 10+ if they play their game. If they don't and Montgomery shoots the ball well I could see this coming down to the wire.. I'll take Mason but rooting for Montgomery. :thumb:

If Mason pressures Stull like I think they will, Mason wins. Let Stull get untracked and hit a few shots it will be a nail-biter. Defense wins championships.

Clark Co. in those games were like night and day. Can't really compare it like that.

Yes, if the scores were closer I would agree with you. Scoring 46 points less in a game is not ALL defense.

 

But my point was that's not a fair way to compare to Montgomery when GRC had their best game against them while GRC had a game to forget against Mason.

Will history repeat itself of the last 2 regional tourneys? The team that won the regular season match....lost to the same team in the finals of the region.

 

2006 Mason lost to GRC in regular season by 16. Pendleton beat GRC by 1 in regular season, then lost to GRC in the semi-finals. Pendleton Co was picked to win the region that year. Mason beat GRC by 3 in finals of region.

 

2007 GRC lost to Mason by 8 in regular season. GRC beat Mason by 4 in the finals of the region.

 

Will be interesting to see who wins this one...????
