What about concession stands....

Featured Replies

The concession stand at Augusta is top notch and those that head it up take great pride in maintaining. Its like visiting a Sams Club and eating samples from what they have to offer. I know those that are associated with Augusta are satisfied:D

Very true growing up in A-Town! I know what it is like they have everything and the people running are very nice and POLITE. You don't see that in very many places. :thumb:

Absolutely nothing better as far as concession stands goes then the one at Augusta High School! I know AD/Head Boys Coach Robin Kelsch very well and he takes pride in their concession stand and it has everything you could possibly want at a ballgame! I second the politeness of the ones who work at the Augusta concession stand, always a warm smile and very helpful!

I haven't seen a concession stand that tops the one in Augusta. It's located on the stage so you don't miss a bit of the action. The prices are very reasonable, comparable or cheaper than most others around. And the selection is HUGE. Nachos, hamburgers, cheeseburgers, hot dogs, a variety of chips, pickles, popcorn, chewing gum, bubble gum, many different candy bars, many different types of candy, pepsi products and gatorade. I may have even left something out. It's worth a look and the gym just adds to the experience.

Augusta's by far is the best!! I know at one time they had the heaviest men's coaching staffs in the 10th region!! You can't buy that kind of endorsement. There is also a rumor going around that the coach of Jayhawk football team is none other than Mangino Kelsch, long lost brother of Robin Kelsch.

From all that i've tried in Eastern Kentucky, which would be alot judging from my waistline, I'd have to say Menifee followed by Augusta. No others in the ball park with those.

South Oldham has great stuffed pretzels and hamburgers. It is located in the upper level of the gym so you don't have to miss any action. Walton has the best hot dogs. Sounds like I need to get to a game at Augusta.

A-Town is the best I've seen.

The "Demon Dog" at Williamstown is pretty good.

Bourbon County's is too far from the gym.......if you ask me. Augusta's is tops!

I do love Agusta's concession stand. The Concession stand and the floor take up 95% of the building.:D

At the Williamstown Christmas Tournament a few years ago, they had a really good concession stand also.

Was at Madison Southern for a Christmas tournament a couple weeks ago and they had the best popcorn I've ever had at a ballgame!:thumb:

Saw Coach Kelsch at the MCIT tonight; he looked almost svelte...

A very good friend of mine from a neighboring county says that Gallatin Co. has the best popcorn in the 8th Region. And his comments on cocession stands and food in general is very well respected.:flame:

No doubt about it, GC DOES have the best popcorn!
