I am simply saying the way Beatty is doing things at Trinity we are winning championships! Let the coaches coach, players play and the fans support. FYI! The #2 has been prepared to step in and the team doesn't miss a beat. When the #1 comes back from an injury, the #2 has done his job for the team based on the preparation he has put in for his fellow players and coaches. You see, this system starts at the freshman level. Don't take this personally, but you haven't lived and breathed the Trinity system as I have. Whats the old saying... There is no "I" in team. Your right! St. X has a beautiful facility. But for football, it is a far 2nd to Trinity! Why! When you have Soccer (+10 yds), Track (+25 yds), you are 35 yards from the sideline if you are on the first row. The site lines don't compare! On the visitors side, from the top row (Row 5), you can't see any of the action because of the players on the sideline. This was caused by a big oops by the surveyor. All I'm saying is for FOOTBALL it compares equally to Henry Clay and Paul Dunbar (On a island far away). I would say for Soccer and Track, X has a #1 facility. By the way, I wish we had the land for a track at Trinity...

For those coming up to the game from Paul Dunbar there is a Chile Supper in the cafeteria. You can enjoy a hot dinner in the warm and dry confines of the Rock. Have a safe drive over from Lexington...

I don't know much about Dunbar. They have put together strong teams in the past and I noticed the played a great Lafayete team really tuff. What gives? I like Trinity with it's balanced offense, improving defense and home field advantage.

Congrats to the JV Rocks! I like what I see in Cameron Smyth at quarterback. Good feet and good vision.

Look! I agree! I would have liked to see Stien replaced by Smyth at that time. But how many games and Championships have you won in the last 7 years! I know I have zero on my resume. FYI! By the way, there were a number of two's that started the game because of injuries to starters...GO ROCKS!

I have first hand experience! My son dreamed of attending and playing football at Trinity. He played and practiced 338 day a year for 4 years in Coach Beatty’s system. He didn’t get a starting role until his senior year! But, before that he was a backup for 3 years and only saw playing time when the game was in hand. He never complained, he wanted to be a part of the tradition and with his friends on the team. What you people outside the Rock circle and some within don’t understand is, there are 100+ kids on the team year in and year out. This makes it very difficult SOMETIMES to get every player in the game when the score gets lopsided. When you have a continuous clock, it sometimes just does not allow enough time to get all the kids in! Sure there were times when I thought more kids should be on the field late in the game. But I’m not behind the scenes and neither are you. The Trinity system is very complicated! Timing! Blocking Stunts! Spacing! etc! The coaches first and for most have to get the reps they feel sufficient for the starters, to accomplish the game plan that was put in for that particular game. I could go on about this! But the bottom line is let the coaches coach and the players practice and play hard! GO ROCKS! Bring home #18! P.S. My son is very proud of the two 4A State Champions rings he has!

I agree! Defense needs to correct a few thing and get quicker to the ball in the secondary. I noticed that Robey and Cupper didn't play both ways, except for a few plays in the first quarter. I glad to see other guys getting some valuable playing time on defense. I think by the playoffs, Coach Bean will have the Rocks D-machine oiled and ready. The PRP fans were great and I enjoyed my Pork Chop Sandwich. Onward for quest of #18! GO ROCKS!

Trinity owned the trash talking non-disclipine Eagles. When will some teams learn that trash talking just does not work!! The Rocks offense ran basic stuff all night. O-line needs to get on the same page. That will be corrected this week. Defense did a great job containing Ferguson. This was a nice warmup for St.X's non throwing but running QB, Ben Zoeller. Let's take care of business next Friday. BEAT ST.X !!!

Male and Manual are not Trinity's Offense. X will have to honor the pass and our sprint offense. X has a great defense but speed kills! T-28- X-13.

Great High School Football Game! Rocks speed gave X fits, but in the end the battle in the trenches were dominated by X. We couldn’t run the ball and you can’t have 4 interceptions and beat a great team like X on the road. They are a great team and X’s student section was fantastic! This game will make the ROCKS a better team down the road. The road to 18 continues this week... GO ROCKS!

Eastern has a fine team this year with the Quarterback and a few good skilled players, but Trinity will not look past them! The coaching staff does not allow that! The kids will not have any trouble getting up for this game. Eastern and Ballard are the most disliked teams on the schedule because they will not play the ROCKS at the Freshman and JV level. Rocks win 42-7!

This should be a great game! I’m looking forward to the drive up to the Queen City. I am very impressed with the Cinn X team speed and size and obviously should be favored big. But, Trinity could keep Cinn X off balance with there spread speed offense. Trinity will have to play mistake free football and put the ball in the end-zone when they get to the red-zone, to pull this one out! Go Rocks! T-28 - X-24...

It's always part of the game! HOLDING!!! I have a level head when we are in the heat of battle, BUT! There was a lot of holding callls when T was bull rushing that was not called! Well deserved!! I will miss seeing LSU at the games. Thanks to all the Rock fans for honoring his memory with the bench and ad in the Football program. I know he will be with us tonight... GO ROCKS!

I was notified moments ago from the Trinity Athletic Dept. that LSU ROCK has died of a heart attack today 06/11/07. I am still in shock writing this email! As soon as I have more info I will report back. Those of you who did not know him, he had a true passion for high school sports in Kentucky and obviously Trinity. We love you and God Bless...
