  1. Both have great teams! Cinn St.X is so big and deep at all positions. We played them without thier star back (Darius Ashley). We suprised them with a great passing game which kept it close, but we couldn’t run the ball. To beat a team like Cinn St.X, you have to have an exceptional run and passing game. They were like a small college team. Ohio football is a step above KY football. Too me, they are the #1 High School football team in the country. Cinn St.X 31-Lou St.X 14.
  2. Thanks for the info! I wasn’t quite sure how that works. It was pretty strange and a first time for me to witness.
  3. It was an hour before the game. Before the Rocks took the field. HC was the only team on the field. A HC player did what I would describe as a Gorilla skip (no disrespect intended) waving his very large biceps and hopping along the HC sideline, then along the Sherran Ave goaline, then down the Trinity sideline and then down the 50 yardline. He didn’t have his helmet on, so you could see the different faces he was making. The two people I was with at the time thought he should save it for game. Just a side note: IMHO! I watched his performance during the game and was not impressed...
  4. Welcome to BGP Tiggers1! Good points! I to, am looking forward to the possible rematch... GO ROCKS! #18
  5. Very well said! Meade County keeps it close for a half. X wins by 3 touchdowns. Good luck to both teams!
  6. Very well put luvthemraiders!
  7. Well said! Honor respect and then play FOOTBALL! Go Rocks! #18
  8. The only problem with Boone County's preparation is you can't prepare for the speed you will see on Friday night. This is no knock on BC's coaching staff or players. It's just the way it is... GO ROCKS! #18.
  9. Thank you! This is the Boone County I have seen for many, many years. Farris is a great running back, but i'm sure Beatty, Bean and Company will have the Rocks defense ready. BC fans have a safe drive to Louisville... Go Rocks! #18
  10. Congrats to the ROCKS on a great win! As I stated earlier in the week that HC would in no way score 35 points on the Rocks defense, as the game played out, it would have been only 7 if we had the starting defense in the game during HC' 4th quarter score. IMHO, The glaring difference between these two teams comes down to preparation and dicipline... BIG Gap!! Also, what is it with the HC player pregame antics! I'm not going to name numbers, but I think anyone at the pregame knows what I'm talking about. Pretty silly to me!
  11. Oh so true! Well put! Some people forget this is a football game!! Sorry! That interview has already been done... GO ROCKS! #18
  12. Pretty much a well prepared Rocks team by a great coaching staff, resulting in a beat-down... GO GOCKS! #18
  13. WOW! I don’t care who you are playing, that’s a ton of touchdowns!!! Congrats on the great honor. Well deserved...
  14. Thanks for taking the time to create this each and every week! Have a Happy Turkey Day!!
  15. strongopenyon! All very good points! I too, have always felt HC has had a lot of talent on the field when they play Trinity. In the past it has been the Rocks QB reads that has foiled HC’s defense. With that in mind, Stein has done this all season to other teams. Should be a great game. GO ROCKS!
  16. Oops! I thought that was a away game for Male. As my wife would say, That’s what I get for thinking... GO ROCKS!
  17. Peace! Have a safe trip and let’s enjoy a great game!
  18. Wes Weitlauf, Jordan Whiting, a pile of Rocks and great coaching!
  19. The Lit Ratings could swing in favor of St.X next week! I have never valued this ranking system. In my mind, X is #1!! They beat us fare and square! Hopefully we will get a chance to reverse that, providing we take care of business on Friday and the following week. GO Rocks #18.
  20. This game will no way be a running clock! Boyd is a great player and I have great cofidence that the coaching staff will have our Rocks defense ready. I think it will play out similar to the way these two teams have played in the past. A feeling out process early, good adjustments by Beatty and company, then Rocks pull away late in the third quarter 41-21. HC fans have a safe trip to the Rock and everyone have a wonderful Thanksgiving!
  21. Yes! This is the only game in town. There are 4,675 seats at Marshall Stadium. We have had a estimated 7,500+ for big games based on the Fire Marshall.
  22. Lighten up! This was a child like prank HC choose to play out two years ago that seemed to backfire. Some teams feel this has a lot to do with a football Game, not realizing that in more games than not, it fires up the opponent even more. I saw this in my son, since he was on the field in that game. GO ROCKS!

  24. Thanks CentreRocks for bringing this out! I couldn’t have said it any better... GO ROCKS!
