Every game has a running clock or else the game would never end.

 

I fully expect the clock to stop on incompletions, out of bounds plays, touchdowns, end of quarters, etc. in this one.

I would agree with the statement from your source on this one. Not that this is a great Trinity team this year, but they are still in a different league. If the Rocks are clicking on all cylinders, and it appears they are, this one gets nasty in a hurry.

I look for the Rocks to take another major step forward this week to becoming the team most thought we would have this year on both sides of the ball. HC is a very good team that will give Trinity much to prepare for on the defensive side of the ball. The O for the Rocks must keep improving in the running game. Tim is running hard like he did at the end of last season. Outside of a major meltdown I look for the Rocks to win this game.

There is 6A football in the state of Kentucky. Then there is Louisville football in the state of Kentucky. The two are totally different. Trinity wins this one. Lexington 6-A is getting better but stil is a step behind the Louisville schools.

Henry Clay is the best team in Lexington there is no doubt.

I am using these first half stats because Trinity is so good there starters hardly played against Dunbar and Lafayette in the second half.

 

Honestly I think this will be the worst beating Henry Clay has taken from Trinity in the last few years.

More specifically, the Louisville Catholic football.

 

There is nothing special about the Louisville publics. Male is typically very good, Manual good of late, and the others fair. Not that great a gap overall between the public schools in the two cities.......huge gap when including St. Xavier and Trinity.

Male, Manual, Ballard, and Lou. Eastern are pretty darn good year in and year out. I would take any of those schools in a head to head match up against Lexington schools.

 

Lou. Schools beat up on each other so much. People often think a team is not very good when they have 5 losses. Example Ballard played ST. X, Trinity twice, and Male. That is a pretty tough scehdule.

I think that Trinity will walk away with this one. BUT would to see a upset. Wish both teams luck.:thumb:

Hen;ry Clay beat Ballard 7 touchdowns to 2 in a scrimmage in August.

 

I hear what you are saying about the Louisville public schools playing some tougher competition, but they are not better than Henry Clay. Male is obviously the best of the Louisville public schools most years.
