Great win for Szabo's Rocks! Very physical game! These are two very talented teams. Someone explain the goal-tending rule to me? If the ball touches the glass, a defensive player cannot touch the ball... right!!! Also, when the ball is released on the shot around or on the rim, the defensive player cannot touch or put his hand threw the net... Right!!! Please correct be if I am wrong. GO Rocks! -

I watched him play at the King of the Blue Grass and was very impressed. Great basketball IQ. Another year of building up his body will bode well for him. Reminds me of John Pelfry when he played for UK. Hope he ends up playing for the Cats! Good luck the rest of the season! -

Again! Congrats to the Rocks on a tough trap game! These are the kind of games you have to win during a long season. Keep up the hard work as we move into 2010. Sewell for Mr. Basketball! GO ROCKS! -

Great game by both teams! Congrats to Szabo and the Rocks players for a great win and also, the first team to ever win both, the King of the Bluegrass and Lex. Cath Tournament in the same year... GO ROCKS!!! -
Congrats to Szabo's Rocks! Great comeback on a off night shooting against a tough 7th Region team!!! Bring home the championship tomorrow!
-
Great win by the Rocks! Congrats to Scott County for a good season and making it to the semi-state. I like the balance we have shown in the last half of the season. Give us the run or give us the pass. Beatty has brought this young team along nicely. After 14 games, the sophomores are now juniors and the juniors are seniors. It's onto Bowling Green for a dream match-up with the tigers. GO ROCKS! #20!

Thanks AL! Your a god man! I've been a ALabama fan all my life. Johnny Musso was my idol. I wore his number #22 in my day. Roll Tide!! Beat the War Eagles!!

Ha! Ha! Funny! Everything is true except score and attendance. You forgot to mention best site lines for a FOOTBALL stadium in Kentucky... truth hurts! Just kidding with you OX! Good luck with your semi-final. Hope we both meet in the championship. Rocks 42 - Scott Co. 12. -

YES!!! Great job! SK is doing good things in NK... Keep your heads held hi. I hope Simpson is doing well! -
I agree “AL”! The problem I have with the whole situation is that it was an organized cheer from an entire group. The “people are human” excuse works for me when one or two people say some retarded things. Not that I agree with that either!!! The student section should cheer for there team! Yelling gay chants to an all boys school who is kicking your teams butt seams very childish and reeks jealousy... IMO!!
-
Amen! I could say a lot more about this situation, but in fear I would be band from this great website, I will refrain!!! A beat down usually calms me down. Go Rocks! #20!
-
I'm a little bias! X is a great team with a lot of seniors. But T has really developed the young guys and Kragthorpe is healthy. Beatty seems to be doing what he always does this time of year... 1. Trinity 2. St. X 3. Scott County 4. Greenwood
-
Great win! The team is coming together very nicely. Haven't we seen this before. Male has great athletes!! IMO, For Redman to someday beat Beatty's system, he will have to trash his pressing defense. The Rocks just eat it up, year in and year out. Defense played great. Male tried every gadget play in the book and still couldn't score until late, late in the forth quarter. Great crowd, great atmosphere! Looking forward to the annual Turkey Day practice. The drive for 5 is still alive... GO ROCKS!

OK! It's the 3rd part of the season! Playoffs!! Who will win between Trinity and Southern? Will a #4 seed beat a #1 seed this year?

Trinity vs Ballard Frosh
rocktopper replied to JIM SEYMOUR # 85's topic in KY Football (High School)
You are a class act! Thanks for putting the story out for those not in the know. Being around football in these parts for as long as I have, Ballard is very fortunate to have you leading the Bruins program. Good luck the rest of the way... except when you play my Rocks! -
Gritty win by the Rocks! Jackson is doing a great job at Ballard. Field conditions were awful for both team and a factor for such a low scoring game. Another district championship and home field for the playoffs as far as the pigskin will take us... nice!!! Someone help me here! Jimmyref, are you out there! Isn't there a rule about loud music and the band playing during each play in a game? If not, I suggest in two years when we return to Ballard, the T fans bring an instrument to play while Ballard is running there offense. Get my point...
