Great win for the ROCKS. Male has so many athletes, they scared me on every play. Our "D" really stepped up. This team is coming together at the right time. Now on to Scott County. The drive for five continues.

Good defensive effort by T before a packed house. If Male's QB, Britt, weren't so slippery, T would have won more convincingly. T has no superstars but they are rounding into a fairly solid team which has improved markedly over the last 3-4 games.

Congrats to the Rocks their D played very well. Male had two fumbles on handoffs lost them both and that hurt them early. The Male DB falling down right before the half on a bad pass by the Rock QB.

Also the Rock QB made some nice passes and of course the Male pass coverage just kills them. Male had some nice drives but the penalties were careless. Got to put pressure on the QB, Rocks did.

I thought being down 10-0 at the half wasn't too bad, Shouldn't have "thought". Nice crowd for both sides, and the Trinity Singers did a great job.

Good Luck to the Rocks and my kid is two years away. :ylsuper:

Looking forward continuing the tradition of Thanksgiving donuts and Hot chocolate Thursday morning at Marshall Stadium and then welcoming Scott County next Friday night. The drive for 5 one game at a time!

Outstanding win. Great game and effort. Agree with other posters about "this time of the year" and the maturation of the Rocks. Terrific D. Thought maybe we had a shutout.

Still one at a time. Loves those Turkey Day mornings. Makes me really miss LSU Rock - he loved them big time.

Great win! The team is coming together very nicely. Haven't we seen this before. Male has great athletes!! IMO, For Redman to someday beat Beatty's system, he will have to trash his pressing defense. The Rocks just eat it up, year in and year out. Defense played great. Male tried every gadget play in the book and still couldn't score until late, late in the forth quarter. Great crowd, great atmosphere! Looking forward to the annual Turkey Day practice. The drive for 5 is still alive... GO ROCKS!

I wish someone would do something to take charge of the student section at Male. The homophobic chants are crude, but I can ignore them as the sophmoric fears of sexual identity that they are.

The chants aimed at a player and his father are a different matter. In these uncertain economic times lots of kids have to worry about their father's job. Most don't have the added pressure of reading about it in the paper. The "educators" at Male need to take charge of their students and cut that stuff off. Congratulations to BK for ignoring it. A big time beat down is the best revenge.

I was not at the game but that it pitiful.

Congrats to T on the win!

Congratulations to Trinity

Let me first mention that I have a son at Trinity....big time supporter of the school and football program. I was at the game....I heard the chants...it showed a little about two schools and their different approach to athletics and more importantly education and developing students. You could see a difference to say the least. I hate to see a great crowd from both sides...a great football atmosphere....be diminished in any form. Maybe a teacher or someone from the school step up a bit so that doesnt happen. Good Luck to the Rocks...as everyone can see...they are improving with every game.

I didn't get to go to the game, but this was one of the first things I heard about the game and I tell you, my heart both breaks for BK, and is proud of him for being able to not let that stuff get to him.

Congratulations to the Rocks! Each year, at the beginning of the year, I hear the "they're not what they used to be" mantra from everyone, including some Trinity fans. Each year, I say, "They're learning. They'll be just fine come the end of the season." With the system Trinity has, and the front-loaded early season schedule, it's always too early to count them out even 4 games into the season. My hat's off to the players, coaches and managers who year in and year out continue to prove that early struggles are paramount to building for the future. They never stop working hard, learning, adjusting and building.

I hear Male's QB is a really awesome player, and although I'm ecstatic we beat Male, I'm happy to hear that they're still going strong.

Now, Rocks....One more and I'll see you in Bowling Green!:dancingpa

This is obviously uncalled for but these are high school kids.

I was standing in the end zone area by the fence and was appalled by the comments of several older ADULT Trinity fans who were taunting the Male defensive players after a TD catch. It was one of the most classless moves I have ever seen. Thankfully, one of the Trinity guys standing next to me told them to shut up and they stopped it but I think we need to look at how the adults are acting before we start calling out the teenagers.

And btw, I support Trinity.

I agree with you. Sometimes, adults are worse than kids.

I will also say that I heard a Trinity fan say something similar to what the Male student section was saying at the T vs. X game in October. I was REALLY angry. Not only because it was from our own fan, but because no matter what one thinks of his dad, this is a KID, and it's HIS game, and he deserves our support. Shameful, really shameful.
