Great win Rocks! I can say only one thing! JOSH SEWELL!!!! I can't wait to see the final tonight! GO ROCKS!

This year T has shown a lot of determination in their games. Today they fought back from a bad first half to slowly cut away at Ballard's lead to finally eke out another win. I think one thing that helped T (ironically) was the great deal of trouble they had with B's withering press in the first half. T having weathered it early, the press wasn't such a surprise late. T sophs Foster and Dieudonne played important roles. B is extremely ahletic and talented but I don't think they overlooked T. I think T just beat them today. Three of the four semi-final teams in the LIT are from the 27th District. It will be a shame that one will not advance to the regional.

Great stat to show the power of Rocks' defense: Tyrell Means had awesome first half leading all scorers with 16.

 

He scored 0 in the second half and overtime.

 

Pretty impressive. This Trinity team is for real.

Trinity overcomes a miserable first half(give credit to Ballard's D) and a beating on the glass to get the OT win.

 

Sewell a man and the other starters took care of business in the second half and OT.

Now I don't know what's going to happen tonight....but I'll say that Trinity has certainly played well so far this season, and they deserve any kudos they are currently earning.

Looks like Trinity's Hoops program has definitely overshadowed the football program so far this year. Is this a blip on the radar for both programs?

Trinity has one of the best players in the state in Sewll and 3 other very strong seniors. Then, they have a number of talented sophomores who were 25 - 0 as freshman. And, I hear they have another strong freshman team this year.

 

I think they are in pretty good shape for this year and the next couple of years.

This could potentially be one of the best teams in Trinity history as far as basketball goes. They're certainly making a legit case for it with the impressive performances they've had so far this season.

 

IMO this team is better than the 2004 (?) team that went to the sweet 16.
