Great win for Trinity....

T had some trouble with J's press but on the other had some easy baskets off the press, too. J has two real good guards in Jackson and Kennedy. I thought T did a real nice job on the glass and showed good poise, including free throw shooting, down the stretch. T led from mid-first quarter on and I think the closest J got was 4. T's largest lead was 17, I believe. T's prize for winning is Ballard tomorrow morning.

Ballard will be tough but this is not the same Trinity team that played them earlier in the year.

The defense is better and they are geting major contributions from Deudonne and Kupper who were just getting ther feet wet in the first game.

Ballard will be tough to beat but Trinity can do it if they take care of the ball and control the boards!

BTW, Keiston Jones has become one great player and I'll take Tyrell Means on my team any day of the week. He is probably THE most underrated player in the state! Doesn't show on the stat sheet but just watch the game and see how many times Means is in the right spot to make a play to help Ballard!

Thomas Jackson jammed his thumb real bad in the game Wednesday night vs Manual. His left hand (shooting hand) was heavily wrapped and it looked like he had trouble handling the ball at times.

Trinity controlled the game beginning to end. I'm looking forward to the Ballard/Trinity game in the morning.

Trinity continues to roll right on through the 7th region.

I believe Trinity has earned the right to say "Bring on Ballard", they've beat almost everyone else that is a threat in the 7th either head to head or in a roundabout way by winning the KOB.

Good luck Trinity this morning!

Great win for Szabo's Rocks! Very physical game! These are two very talented teams. Someone explain the goal-tending rule to me? If the ball touches the glass, a defensive player cannot touch the ball... right!!! Also, when the ball is released on the shot around or on the rim, the defensive player cannot touch or put his hand threw the net... Right!!! Please correct be if I am wrong. GO Rocks!

LOL.
